Dr. Marie Fidèle UMUHIRE is a consultant psychiatrist registered with the Rwanda Medical and Dental Council (RMDC). She completed her undergraduate medical studies at the former National University of Rwanda and received her master’s degree in medicine from the University of Rwanda after completing the necessary rotations at the Belgian "Université de Louvain" and the Swiss "Université de Lausanne" as well as the University of Rwanda.

Both adult and child adolescent psychiatry are of considerable interest to Dr. Marie Fidèle UMUHIRE. She has 12 years of professional experience in the medical area, including 8 years in the field of mental health and 4 years as a general practitioner. Dr. Marie Fidèle served as a general practitioner at Kigeme District Hospital, and in the field of mental health.

Furthermore, Dr. Marie Fidele formerly worked at "Kibuye Referral Hospital" in the Western Province of Rwanda, "Cliniques de l’Europe - Site St-Michel" in Belgium, and "Hôpital du Valais Romand - Hôpital de Malevoz" in Switzerland.
She currently works as a consultant psychiatrist at CHUK and as a part-time consultant psychiatrist at Kigali Psycho Medical Center (KPMC).
