Dr. Vianney NYIRIMANA

Dr. Vianney NYIRIMANA is a junior consultant psychiatrist registered with the Rwanda Medical and Dental Council (RMDC). After completing required rotations at the "Universite catholique de louvain" in Belgium and the university of Rwanda, he earned his master’s degree in medicine in psychiatry from the university of Rwanda. He completed his undergraduate medical studies at the former National University of Rwanda.

He also has a certificate in adverse childhood experiences issued by the postgraduate institute of medicine in California, United states .

Dr. Vianney has a great interest in Adult , child and adolescent psychiatry. He has 9 years work experience in the medical practice (3 in the general practice and 6 years in the mental health field ). He worked at Kirehe district hospital for two years and at Ndera Neuropsychiatry hospital for another two years before undertaking his specialized training during specialization, Dr. Vianney also worked at “Fond Roy Clinic” in Belgium. Ndera Nero psychiatric hospital , and at the mental health department of the university teaching hospital of Kigali. He is currently appointed as psychiatrist head of department of mental health.
